## Our approach to accuracy

Every guidance page cites the official source. Across our guidance, we cite the Act on legislation.gov.uk, the Home Office statutory guidance, the SIA and ProtectUK. We separate what the law requires from what the guidance recommends, and each guidance page shows when it was last reviewed. Our guidance is general information, not legal advice.
