Guidance, not legal advice

Our guidance and the tier check explain the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 and its official guidance. They are general information, not legal advice, and they cannot take account of every venue’s circumstances. The responsible person for a venue remains responsible for meeting its duties. Check the official guidance, and take professional advice where you are unsure.

Accuracy

We work to keep our pages accurate and up to date, and each shows when it was last updated. The law and guidance can change, and the commencement date has not yet been fixed.

Security services

Security reviews and enhanced tier support are delivered by an experienced team, who we introduce to you and who work with Wardcote. Security teams and door supervision are provided by security companies whose staff hold the required SIA licences, which contract with you directly. Wardcote does not itself supply security staff.
